The interviewed enterprises introduced that although the state has issued many policies to encourage the purchase of domestic high-end medical devices, the "glass door" phenomenon still exists in the actual bidding process, and the rush to buy imported products is still common. Wang Dongsheng, vice chairman of the China Association of Medical Equipment, introduced that some hospitals blindly compete in using imported equipment, and even some township health centers claim to have imported equipment. Chongqing Shanwai Shan Technology Co., Ltd. is a leading enterprise in hemodialysis equipment. Chairman Gao Guangyong introduced that in recent years, the state has selected a batch of high-quality domestic product directories. However, due to the long-term use of imported equipment by medical staff, the strong marketing capabilities of multinational companies, and the fact that public hospitals do not consider cost performance when purchasing, some high-quality domestic products are still difficult to be purchased by hospitals.
The hemodialysis equipment produced by our company is not much different from imported products, and the price is relatively low. However, public hospitals seldom consider the cost performance when purchasing. The substitute ball tubes failed to break into the domestic market, so we had to turn to the overseas market. Our products are available in hospitals in countries such as Germany, Greece and Spain. The proportion of our company in the overseas market has reached 60%. In addition, some requirements for bidding and tendering are not flexible enough. Zhang Songgen introduced that the "Tianji" orthopedic surgical robot and the substitute tube developed by the enterprise have been recognized by relevant national ministries and commissions as "international original" therapeutic medical devices. Most bidding and tendering requirements require three qualified bidders to be valid. Due to the originality of the enterprise's products, it takes a long time and is difficult to convert them into a single-source procurement method, which seriously affects the enthusiasm of the purchasing party.
