From the perspective of the regional distribution of listed companies (Shanghai and Shenzhen stocks), as of the end of July 2020, there were 69 listed medical device companies across the country. Among them, Guangdong Province had the largest number of listed companies, with 17, accounting for 24.64% of the total number of listed medical device companies in the country. The total revenue of listed medical device enterprises in Guangdong Province was 35.6 billion yuan, accounting for 29.14% of the total revenue of listed medical enterprises across the country. In 2020, due to the impact of the epidemic, the number of both production and operation enterprises in the medical device industry in Guangdong Province increased, and the regional concentration of operation enterprises further improved.
